Garden Style Restaurant to hit Adams Blvd
It's official! The rumor everyone's been talking about for the last few months is now confirmed. LAEater article today shared the news that a new restaurant/brewery will be going in just E of Fairfax on Adams, and down the street from Delicious Pizza & Vee's Cafe. They will join 2 other restaurants nearby who are slated to open in 2018.

New Market, shops and housing coming to West Adams
A recent Curbed article on an 11 acre development at La Cienega and Jefferson, where the KLOS tower is located, has been the buzz on the blvd. Neighbors are excited to see what retailers will be moving in and if there will be an organic market in the proposed 50,000sf space. The owners of the building at the corner of La Cienega and Jefferson just renovated the space with new full length windows and doors, plus a new paint job. Looks like they are betting this new development will be a winner.

Recent Sales/Market Update
I was looking at homes sold since Jan 1st 2015 in West Adams and was surprised to see more homes on the market in the high $500k's and $600k's. More folks are revamping their homes to sell and getting top dollar. The last few sales in the neighborhood are:
2632 Clyde Ave 3bed+2ba 1252sf - Sold for $620,000
1943 Hauser Blvd 3bed+2ba 1410sf - Sold for $630,000
2330 Alsace Ave 3bed+2ba 1420sf - Sold for $620,000
It's also interesting to see the stats in the above picture . The median price has increased and the days on market (DOM) has also increased. The inventory is overall low, but each quartile has an equal number of listings. I wonder what summer will bring!
Wild West Adams
I thought I would start a blog about what's been happening in what I call the westside of West Adams. It's that pocket West of Crenshaw to Fairfax. Fais Do Do is there, art galleries and shops are opening and there is the beginning wave of new food coming to the neighborhood. I've been selling here for the last few years and it's amazing to watch it grow. There's a lot more to come. Just watch Wild West Adams take shape.
