Happy New Year and Happy new Crosswalk!

We’re happy to announce the installation of a brand-new crosswalk at the corner of West Adams Blvd and South Burnside Ave! With all of the happenin’ businesses along Adams Blvd, we’re always looking for opportunities to explore.  And now, we can do so even more easily and safely.  

 

This project goes to show that when residents, local businesses, City Council and the City work together, we can achieve great things for our neighborhood.  Shout out to the LTF Block Club, Band of Vices, Delicious Pizza, The City of Los Angeles, and countless neighbors and friends for all of their efforts in making this happen. 

 

A safe neighborhood is a happy neighborhood! 

YARD SALE AND BBQ AT VINEYARD REC CENTER

THE VINEYARD REC CENTER IS HOSTING A NEIGHBORHOOD YARD SALE AND BBQ!

Come support your neighbors and your local park!

There will be lots of items for the yard sale plus refreshments and lunch. Say hi to your neighbors!

X-ing on Adams Event at Fais Do-Do 5/12 5pm-8pm

LA Mas along with the city has developed Vision Zero Los Angeles, a traffic safety awareness week happening on Adams Blvd hence the bright red, yellow and black wrapping on our street posts. They are putting on a FREE event at Fais Do-Do Friday 5/12 from 5-8pm and the community is invited. 

The goal is to reduce traffic fatalities by 2025 We can speak with LADOT at the event, learn more about why they picked our neighborhood and how we can help.

Come join us and help clean up our neighborhood. 

On Saturday, April 29th from 9am - 12pm along with Council District 10 & the West Adams Neighborhood Council, we're getting together to beautify our Blvd. 

We have groups meeting at Spaulding and Adams, Hauser and Adams and La Brea and Adams. Bring gloves, sunblock and water. Jeff and I will be heading up a group on Spaulding and Adams, but feel free to join anywhere.
